The property on which the course now sits, enjoyed its humble beginnings as the personal estate & nine hole golf course, of an eccentric gent by the name of R G Roy in the 1960’s - 1970’s, until his passing and the estate sale.
On the eastern edge of Greater Toronto, Cherry Downs Golf and Country Club is easily accessible, but delivers the peaceful atmosphere of a grand and peaceful old club. Designed by Canadian architectural icon Howard Watson.
Established in 1968, Glen Cedars is the charter member of the Deer Creek Golf Clubs family. Mature, picturesque and difficult are the words most commonly used to describe us.

With mixed emotions we are giving the old girl a rest, and announce the temporary closure of Pickering Golf Club for the 2011 golf season. We look forward to seeing you in 2012 with many new improvements that will allow Pickering Golf Club.
Watson's Glen Golf Course is one of Durham regions premier public 18 hole championship courses. Located in north Pickering, Watson's Glen is situated on approximately 200 acres. Designed by Kevin Holmes, this links style course has bent grass tees, fairways and greens.
